Boyer in Base Hospital

     The Texas climate apparently does not agree with J. Richard Boyr, former Elgin resident, who is captain-quarter-master of the Third Illinois infantry.   He is one of 18 members of the regiment who were in the base hospital at Ft. Sam. Huston, yesterday.   Shortly after the arrival of the boys, dispatches said that Capt. Boyer had found the heat too much and had been placed in the base hospital for a few days.
